1913 these steel beams were forged and riveted in the Lanarkshire /steel Mills in Scotland and shipped to Perth to be installed as gantry crane support members of the Midland Railway workshops. During the redcvelopement of the Midland Raidway workshops, these steel beams were salvaged and transformed into individual art works at North One to the acknowledsge the industrial heritage of the past in a contemproary form. The works express a strong horizontal linear aspect with transit and junction points which define the activation of uban meeting places and public infrastructure....
